At least one of the twins must be famous. List is in no particular order.

Dive into the intriguing world of celebrity twins with our comprehensive list that captures the allure of these rare duos. Our compilation is not just about identical twins that share a remarkable resemblance but also includes fraternal twins, whose likeness may not be as striking but are equally fascinating. Some of these pairs have both siblings in the limelight, while others feature just one celebrity beside their lesser-known twin.

Given the sheer rarityā€”only 2% of the global population are twins with a scant 0.2% being identicalā€”it's no wonder twins captivate our attention, both in families yearning for their unique bond and on the casting calls of Hollywood seeking that special spark. Parents often daydream about the ideal twin pairing of a boy and a girl, while twins continue to hold a special place in the narrative of our lives.

When we delve into the science, identical twins, or "monozygotic," arise from a single fertilized egg, while "dizygotic" twins or fraternal, come from two. Interestingly enough, twin pregnancies are more common than you might think, with some studies indicating 1 in 8 could start as twin conceptions. But often, a phenomenon known as "Vanishing Twin Syndrome" occurs, where only one fetus reaches full term. And let's not forget the rare occurrence of semi-identical twinsā€”same genes from mom, different genes from dad.

Our list takes you through a diverse array of twin sets, from famous twins across Asian, white, and Black communities to those who've made their mark in history. Collectively curated by movie and TV aficionados, this list relies on crowd ranking to bring the most notable twin celebrities to the forefront. So, join in, share your opinion, and see how your favorite pair ranks amongst the others. After all, it's not every day you come across such an exceptional genetic marvel.
